I’m Callum and I’m from Glasgow, Scotland! I earned a sports/business degree at university, have over 8 years of work experience and have been a sports coach for almost 10 years. This is my second summer at camp, and I love to bring energy, to encourage and inspire campers to dream big and dive into new experiences. Outside of camp I own my own business, play soccer and box, and recently I’ve been traveling the world!! this summer I can’t wait to have the experience of a lifetime and make magical memories!!!

Why Do You Love Working With Campers?: I love being able to learn from the kids. I have learned so many new things and perspectives from all of the kids I have worked with. I feel that we can learn just as much from kids as we do from them.

I'm Maura and I'm originally from Plainfield, Indiana and am currently studying Brain and Behavioral Sciences/Developmental and Family Science at Purdue University. This is my third summer working at camp, and thirteenth summer coming to Flat Rock. I love everything about camp from stand-up paddling boarding on the pond to riding the horses at ranch. I have a passion for creating a space where kids can feel confident to truly be themselves and branch out in a new environment. When I'm not at camp, I love dancing, watching movies, and spending time with my friends. I can't wait for another amazing summer full of so many magical moments.

I’m Dakoda Greci. I’m from Danville, Indiana and attend Vincennes University getting an associate’s degree in culinary arts. This is my third summer on staff. Attended and working at camp have shaped who I am today. I found my love for mountain biking, hiking, and nature at camp. I am so excited for this summer to be a leader for campers and staff.​

I'm John! I'm from Beech Grove, Indiana and I'm currently a Law and Public Policy student at Indiana University and an Eagle Scout. This will be my fourth year at camp, and I am extraordinarily excited to continue cultivating mystique in my role as Village Coordinator. While at IU, I have taken advantage of the extensive martial arts program, and studied Jiu-Jitsu, Hapkido, Escrima, Judo, German Longsword Fencing, and Modern Arnis. I'm an avid fan of Star Wars, Dungeons and Dragons, and Jimmy Johns. I'm excited to see you all in the village, and frankly tired of not living in a yurt. Fortune and Glory. -J.B.​

I’m Jackson. I’m the aquatics coordinator. This is my second summer working at Flat Rock. I recently moved to North Carolina but came back for the summer because I can’t get enough of Flat Rock! I love working with kids to keep them safe and giving them full autonomy to have fun. I also love watching as kids find community at camp and helping them grow closer together. I’m so excited to create a fun and safe environment at all of our aquatic facilities this summer!

I am Kira McElwain from Franklin, Indiana, and I am currently in nursing school at Ivy Tech working toward a career helping others. This will be my third summer at Flat Rock, which has become a really special place to me. I’m excited to be this summer’s “river rat,” though in the past I loved running the woodworking clinic and getting to be creative with campers. Outside of school, I enjoy relaxing by making crafts or spending time with my kitten, Bow. I can’t wait to make this summer an amazing and memorable one!

I'm Susie! I am a senior at the University of Kentucky studying equine science and management and animal sciences on the pre-veterinary medicine track. I was a ranch camper my entire time as a camper, and this is my second summer on staff. Previously, I was a ranch counselor, and now, I am so excited to be the Ranch Coordinator. I am passionate about educating ranch campers about proper equine husbandry. When I am not at camp, I am competing at horse shows, studying, and volunteering as a Sunday School teacher.​

I'm Natalie, I am from Zionsville, Indiana, and I am studying Math and Math Education at Purdue University with the goal of becoming a high school math teacher. I have been a camper for 7 years and this will be my 2nd year on staff. I love seeing kids become the most confident versions of themselves at camp and enjoy bonding with the people around them like I did when I was a camper. I am so excited to use my education experience to help encourage the next group of teenagers to be strong and compassionate leaders. Outside of camp, I enjoy spending time outside, playing bored and card games, reading, and crafting. I can't wait for another unforgettable summer!

I am originally from Indianapolis and am now studying Costume Design and Studio Art at Indiana University. Creativity, leadership and fun are my priorities at camp. Hello!! My name is Maddie, and I was born and raised in Noblesville, Indiana. I currently attend the University of Southern Indiana where I major in Social Work and minor in Spanish. I went to camp for ten years as a camper, and I am coming back for my third year on staff, as this year’s Service Corps Coordinator!! Flat Rock has constantly provided a safe space for me to express and grow my interests, and I have always been thrilled to come back each year. I can’t wait to cultivate opportunities for the older kids at camp to feel prepared coming into their next phase of life. When I’m not at camp, I play rugby at my university, participate in multiple clubs, as well as work at our gym on campus. I’m excited to see you all this summer!​
