If you are new to Flat Rock, here's a little info on what the the themes are all about. The camp schedule and activities offered remain the same for each session of the summer. The themes are designed to add a little flavor for each week.
Campers may wish to bring items and/or clothing to get into the spirit of the theme. A patch for the eye for Pirates week, a cowboy hat for western week, a Santa hat for Holiday Week etc. For some families, the theme plays a big part in the session they select.
Session 1 Jun 7-12
Step into the story of your favorite movies with action-packed games, high-flying activities, and red carpet magic. Campers will create their own silver-screen-worthy moments while enjoying all the classic camp activities we love, infused Hollywood-inspired fun!
Session 2 Jun 14-19
After defeating the bandits last summer and restoring peace to Flat Rock, campers return to find there’s a new sheriff in town and a whole new frontier of fun to explore. Expect all the camp activities with a Western twist as everyone joins in to write the next chapter of our Flat Rock legend.
Session 3 Jun 21-26
Come one, come all! Step right up for Circus Week! Camp transforms into a whimsical big top where campers can juggle new skills, laugh with friends, and enjoy camp favorites sprinkled with circus-style charm. Get ready for a week of fun as everyone becomes part of the greatest show at Flat Rock!
Session 4 Jun 28- Jul 3
Get ready to dive into a week bursting with color, energy, and friendly competition! Color Crews will face off throughout the week to see which color will reign supreme. Earn points and show your Color Crew spirit by winning the cleanest cabin, participating in activities, and competing in all-camp games!
Session 5 Jul 5-10
After helping our extra-terrestrial friends repair their ship and return home last summer, campers discover new cosmic mysteries unfolding above Flat Rock. Get ready for stellar fun as camp activities take on an intergalactic twist and the next chapter of our space adventure begins!
Session 6 Jul 12-17
After whispers of mutiny spread across Flat Rock’s shores, campers join the crew to uncover clues, keep the peace, and decide which staff members might just walk the plank. Camp activities will come with swashbuckling fun as we chart a course for high-seas adventure.
Session 7 Jul 19-24
Camp becomes a whimsical realm where storybook adventures, enchanted quests, and renaissance-faire charm weave through every activity. Get ready for a week of imagination and discovery as campers step into a world of knights, sprites, legends, and limitless adventure.
Session 8 Jul 26-31
Each day brings a new festivity, from spooky Halloween fun to festive Christmas cheer, birthday surprises, Independence Day excitement, and more. Campers can enjoy classic activities wrapped in joyful traditions as we pack a whole year of holidays into one unforgettable week.
