As part of our goal of building strong kids, we work to instill the values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility in all our campers and staff through everything we do and how everything is structured.  Campers are grouped according to age and live in cabins with 7 to 9 other campers and two counselors. Friendships grow as they work and play together during a full day of activities.

The camp day begins with flag raising, breakfast, Chapel and clinics.  Camper select thier own clinics from a large variety, depending on age and skill level.  There are eight clinic periods per day and campers keep the same clinics throughout the week.  Clinics are designed to develop skills, to be progressive for each age group, and to be safe and fun!

Some clinic selections include:
Swimming Archery Horseback Riding**
Canoeing Arts & Crafts Sports & Games
Rock Climbing Rappelling* Riflery
Mountain Biking* Fishing Music
Model Rocketry Nature Flat Rock Newspaper
Drama Dance Outdoor Skills
Kayaking
* Age restrictions apply ----- ** See Equestrian Programs

After clinic time, campers rejoin their cabin mates to eat lunch and spend the afternoon planning and participating in small cabin-group activities. These may include River Hikes, Teams Course, Games, Crafts, Sports, Nature Hikes, spending time with the horses, getting a snack from the Trading Post, going fishing, and much more.

The flag is lowered, everyone eats dinner and the evening excitement begins! Evening activities may include an all-day camp special event or a unit/cabin activity developed around a theme.  There are special Opening and Closing campfire ceremonies and events planned each week.  While all cabins plan a special meal that they cook over an open fire, the older cabin groups may also plan to sleep out under the stars.

Campers learn to make individual and group decisions with the help of their friends and their counselors.  Daily activities are designed to build character, promote independence and sharpen skills, all in a safe, and moral environment.  Please visit our Daily Schedule page to see a break down of a typical day at camp.

Check in is on Sunday from 2:00-3:00. Parents are invited to attend Chapel on Saturday at 9:00am.  Check out is at 9:20am.
