The YMCA is a not-for-profit, charitable organization that puts Christian principles into practice through programs that enhance personal growth and improve the health of spirit, mind and body for all. We believe that no one should be turned away due to inability to pay. In 2010, 422 kids received assistance to participat in Flat Rock programs thanks to the generosity of our donors.Many YMCA programs and services are provided at low- or no-cost thanks to the contributions and sponsorships of area businesses and individuals. At Flat Rock we are for youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Give to the Flat Rock today!
Y FOR ALL
The Y FOR ALL Campaign raises much needed financial support for children, teens and families who are unable to afford the full cost of participation in a YMCA program or activity. The Y FOR ALL Campaign helps one person at a time, one family at a time, or one program at a time in our community. That might mean providing the funds to:
- Help a child attend day camp for the first time.
- Support military families while their loved one is deployed.
- Enable a child to participate in recreation and fitness activities.
- Provide a safe place of child care and/or Before and After School care to a struggling family.
- Help a teen gain the confidence and skills to avoid addition, violence, and isolation.
